How should I take enterade®?
Use as directed by your healthcare provider, typical use is two 8 ounce bottles per day.
When should I drink enterade®?
Directed by your healthcare provider, typical use of enterade® is 30 minutes before a meal or 1 hour after consuming food. Patients preferred chilled or over ice. Do not mix enterade® with other products.

Can I take any other medications for nausea, vomiting, diarrhea?
Patients took medication for NVD during clinical trials with no interactions, but consult your HCP about the use of enterade® and side effect management medications.
Can enterade® be used in a feeding tube?
Patients have used enterade® through a feeding tube with no reported complications. Consult your healthcare provider about use of enterade® through a feeding tube.
What’s wrong with glucose in a damaged GI system?
Research has shown that glucose stimulates intracellular Ca2+-activated chloride secretion.Chloride secretion reduces net fluid and electrolyte absorption; further complicating nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In addition, glucose increases paracellular permeability.
How is enterade different from oral rehydration solutions (ORS) or other glucose based products?

What does BEST BY mean on the bottle of enterade®?
The BEST BY date refers to the last day of the month/year recommended that you use the product by for BEST physical and or sensory quality. It is not an expiration date but rather the date which we recommend consumption. Example: BEST BY 02/17 means we recommend you drink it by February 28, 2017 for the best flavor experience.
